50 bmg

I just got this in yesterday for my Serbu RN-50. Worked out to be about $4 Cdn/ round but is quality first run ammo linked and in a fat-fifty can.

Problem is the fees and dollar exchange. For me to bring this in for myself is no problem because I don't need to make a profit. If I do this for the public then it wouldn't be $4/ round because I would need to make something on it to cover my time and effort for the shop. You guys want cheap / bulk and I understand that but unfortunately once it shows up in Canada it is not that.
 
Would you pass on the info so we can bring some up? Based on the interest I'm guessing a few of us could do a good sized group buy.

No can do ,sorry. This is our business and we work hard to get these contacts. Giving them up to anyone is not in the cards.

If you want to do a group buy I can arrange it but be advised the cost will be $5/ round landed.
 
Not to hijack this thread, but may I ask one Question plz?

Is all federal "XM" whatever ammo stuff that the military turned down?
I just grabbed 120 rnds of XM855 5.56 federal "green tip" , I was under the impression that the quality is the same?

As I understand it it can vary from simply being military contract overrun to product being rejected by the military because it doesn't meet their specs, it does however meet civilian specs so it can be sold. Rejects may simply be missing sealant or something similar that wouldn't really effect performance for the average Joe. Buy it and shoot it!
