50 cal barrel length,need help

It would seem that - according to the barrel orders I have processed - that 32-36" is about the norm, with a 2" thick blank. Rick at ATRS is the undisputed authority on 50's. Perhaps he will chime in.
 
28 to 32 inches seems to be the most common range of barrel lengths for 50s.
For most uses I find no difference between the 28 and the 32" long barrels on my Nemesis which has quick change barrels.

To have a more concise answer, more info as to what the intended use will be would be helpful.
 
mine is 34 inches long with about five inches of muzzle brake after that, the only issue with that is the fact that you are deep into custom gun case territory then since the gun becomes so huge.
