First you have to get fuse . I got mine from Loyalist arms & repair in Nova Scotia. Then just drill the fuse hole a tiny bit bigger than the fuse . and you are set to go . I just use the cap off a can of 3f & fill it with powder , goes boom , Smoke & propels the lead ball , you can add more powder if you want but its not like you are trying to bring down a fort . don't forget to clean with hot water then dry & oil
Those cannons are sold without a touch hole for liability issues. They aren't meant to be shot.

There is also a thread about cannon disasters, not very current though, no mention of the youngster than was hit in the head by a chunk of barrel, 100 ft away from the exploding cannon.
Dixie gunworks, sell a working cannon much like yours, more expensive, defiinatly the safest route to go .

I've fired mine & made quite a few . Never had a problem . Of course I'm not pouring half a can of powder down the pipe .
