50 cal How much press clearance?

You need a big press with correct threads for the BMG. The dies are 1-1/2" thread. I recommend the big Hornady or RCBS press with either Hornady or RCBS dies.
The Lee BMG setup is cheaper and uses its own 1-1/4" threaded dies.

The Lee Classic Cast is an excellent press for 50 BMG, I showed it no mercy and couldn't break it.
Also used the RCBS Ammomaster and it works very well for the big 50.
Both Lee and RCBS make very good dies and tools for the 50.
I have both presses on my bench for daily use..
