$50 Dry Tumbler at CT

Just bought a combo colander/ bowl at wallyworld for $5. I just dump the whole lot in the colander, lift it up and shake till all the media falls through into the bowl! After 4 hours it is smooth and shiny but not real shiny, then again it is Norc. .45 brass! I think when I can afford a wet tumbler, this will be the " get the grime off and then wet polish/clean!

An excellent buy at 50 bucks ; I bought 3 ; 2 for myself ; and 1 for a gift.....can't go wrong for 50 bucks....

How do people get the inside of the necks clean? I dry tumble with corn cob and I don't notice any dust, and they come out really clean, but the inside of the neck is still black and lots of soot

Yea, I still have some soot iin my.45 acp brass, not bad though! I have some new 38/55 brass I got from rustic on a sale that is off color so I just put it in the cleaner to polish it up a bit!

Picked one up to polish brass after ultrasonic cleaning. Works great with the Lyman red media. Very quiet unit. Gets louder if there isn't enough media to for the amount of brass.

On my 4th batch, I added a bit extra metal cleaner. (About a teaspoon ish) and the brass came out much shineyer inside and out! Good to have the brass ready to work on!

Mine just crapped out, about 6 months old....keep your receipts!
My 10 year old Lyman is still running thankfully.
