I just found out about the .50 GI round, and the conversion slides for Glock 21/22! Does anyone have one of these? Does anyone know a lot about these? Has anyone looked into importing these yet? I know I am about to get a glock 21/22 now..... and the expensive conversion!

Not likely to be any here. Certainly no ammo or brass.
Questar, for example, wants $749Cdn to import a firearm(a slide isn't a firearm, but there'd still be import/export paperwork).
MSRP for the conversion kit is $595US with one mag. Mags runs $49.95US each. Hornady .50 calibre bullets(FP-XTP's) run $60.95Cdn per 50. Dies run $75 US. Brass runs $390US per 1,000.
The slide will run you over $1344 plus taxes.
A Glock M21 runs $900Cdn plus taxes.
You'd end up with a $2500 pistol that you can't get ammo for.

yep... if you want more bang from your Glock, get some .45SUPER brass and you are rocking; it outperforms the .50GI.
Although I will admit the .50GI looks cool
But it is a purely cosmetic mod IMO and as mentioned above not worth the cost.
