.50 help

Angus I was down in the US a month ago and I was searched by the american on the way back. They had a road block set up before the border. The searched through the stuff I had bought at Cabellas and I asked them what specifically they were looking for. They said powder and primers. They did not say anything about the bullets I had all be it that they were not 50 cal but they did not even look at them closely enough to know what cal they were. So you might have to take a trip or just get them shipped.

Have you tried..........whats his name..........Oh yes.....Rick Timmins (sorry if we have a spelling error:eek: ) @ Alberta rifle works....

I think he is still in business. I understood he was big into the .50 cal guns...

Yes he is still in business, and doing well. Last time I was to his shop, it was greatly increased both in size and product.
For 50 BMG stuff his shop is pretty much 1 stop shopping

Bulletsmith Allberta wildcats builds good .50 cal bullets, and they are cheaper I was told, than Amax's ( about half?)
Also I think Andrew at Higginson's has them.
