Almost all RWS/Diana rifles come from the factory bone dry.I'd suggest either taking it apart yourself and lubing it or getting someone else to lube tune and polish it for you.Saves damage breaking it in..................this will void the warranty but you'll have a gun that works in the end............Harold
I know what you mean.I have a RWS34 in .22 for my son that was so harsh it rattled the stock screws loose every dozen shots.Upon taking it apart the mainspring was severely kinked and the piston seal split.I ordered a Apex seal and a Macarri GRT kit/mainspring as well as had the barrel recrowned.Now it shoots like it should have before leaving the factory.You're right it shouldn't need fixin brand new.Harold..........they are unlubed drier than fartdust from the factory
