500gr load data for 45/70

This is from the Aug-Sept 2007 issue of Handloader Magazine, which once came to me courtesay of Johnn Peterson. It's from an article by Brian Pearce, on handloading the Malin's model 1895.
This page shows loadings that appear mighty stiff for the Marlin, but note at the bottom of the page, they were all shot (and chrongraphed) in the 1895 with the 22 inch barrel. Note at he top, its states no load exceeds 43,500 CUP.

I've noticed that too, many of those loads are several grains hotter than other published data...even the Hodgdon data which seems hot on its own.
