Does anyone have an original 500 webley cartridge that they could measure the bullet diameter for me?
I’m ordering a heeled bullet mould and want to get it right

I'm curious about your gun's measurements: chambers, throats, bbl?

I need the factory spec as I plan to get more 500s .the gun I have seems to be a few thou tighter than most.
You’re supposed to be able to use 500 s&w dies and brass,trimmed,but that doesn’t fit in mine.
I don’t want to order a bullet mold just for this one gun

If you can get the brass working, you can always slug your bore and load cartridges with the appropriate sized round ball. 50 cal is popular in muzzleloading so finding roundballs or even conical projectiles in that range would not be that hard.
