50BMG-Genesee?

I like this one. You would think it's the first time the guy one anything. Actually, everyone looks pretty cheerful.

Real nice timeing on the Pic Glock-a-Maniac. Looks like you got a picture of my mentaly challenged twin brother!!:p:D:redface: Payback will hurt!!:slap::D

I took another one with you as a stand in for your stock painting twin but what I'm not sure about is which one of you was shooting and which one of you was spotting. As least you can share the prize for shooting in the competition for the first time regardless of how you placed...

First timers

Here are two "First Round Grins".

My son, Jack! Took him a couple of minutes to work up the courage to squeeze the trigger the first time, but he was back for a couple more soon after. I guess his college fund just became his ammo fund!

A friend of ours, who just touched off her first .50 BMG round! She also fired more rounds than she intended!

Thanks to all who made it such a fun day! LRC, so good to catch up with you after all these years! ( 20 years and 40 pounds ago, I was in Basic Recruit Training with Long Range Canuck.) Thanks for the loan of your gun, and the ammo for Jack!

We will be back at it again next year out at Genesee!

Cheers,

Ben

My pleasure, As your pics show the looks on the faces are as good as pulling the trigger yourself. As far as 20yrs and 40lbs ago......I think Im packing a little better than that.:p:redface: But it's a hazard of the job. Crane operating doesnt call for many forced marches throughout the day.;):D

It was a great shoot and I look forward to the next one. I am trying to make plans for the shoot on the 18'th, you guys have a nice range setup. And the hospitality is great also.

WOW! thats the nicest target rack ive ever seen. the guy who built that should get a lifetime free membership to the range. or a new car.

MUTT-ROC WELDING

It is GREAT to have a welder in the club! That is some hard steel, too. (i.e. $$$)

Much thanks to him!

Ben
