.50bmg

I might have misread your post but shouldnt the post closes to the muzzel be shorter than the rear post?

oups yes

45 moa is excellent

then we have a major problem

put the scope on another rifle with another scope mount 308W and shoot at 100 yards
do it with the same rifle but the AI mount

There is something strange and you will never reach 1000 yard with the actual set up

Hensoldt has such a mount. Never seen it.

Any idea where we can put our hand on one of these in Canada

Any Recknagel dealer can get one for you. With our plumeting dollar vs. the euro the price is not very appealing at the moment. IIRC the basic mount without QD levers is something like $650ish. Add QD levers and an scope level/angle indicator and it ends up around $900+.

I was just asked not to fire mine until a new public safety assessment is done in my area, so my barrett sits in its vault 8(

Hey guys wolverine has an AOF indicator they sell by badger, is it any good. and if its on a 20moa rail id have to adjust for that correct?

WOLVERINES seems to sell them but I do not see the package you have. Do we have to get a special order ?

regards

Yes I am afraid like all of us. imagine mine cost me 19 000 CAN $.
If you had the brass the ammo, the press, the trimmer.... I am dead

I think they will only try to make it restricted. But I have my permit for restricted weapons.

The main problem is : IF you apply a restriction on a BOLT ACTION, do you have to apply that restriction to ALL bolt action ?
Only the divine .50BMG ?

I pray each night.

Have a Nice Zombie Day.

wow that is crazy! you are a real gun nut! respect to you sir! south shore shooter i see?!

Anyone have any first hand experience with presses for .50BMG, should I keep trying to find the new Dillon, or should I go another route like say a Lee 50bmg kit. And where could I order one within canada.

The Lee presses for 50 cal are prone for failure.
Dillon makes some great products but progressive presses are not normally used for any ammo requiring accuracy.
Hornady or RCBS both make reasonable quality 50 cal reloading gear that does work and will last up over time.
If you want the absolute best press on the market however.

I'm more looking for one shell at a time with attention to consistency, I assume I could use it for Both 308 and 50 target loads then? and should last me my lifetime then? I wont have to worry about breakdowns, Because to be honest that price is less than some other comparable presses I was looking at. And the Canadian Made is a plus for me

That and is there a starter package deal that has everything for 50, then I could add dies for 308?

Is that a reasonable expectation for the 1K price point? (no i dont mean spinners, etc too, just the press and dies etc)

Im considering an Annealer at some point too eventually

If I may

I do want to buy a Canadian product BUT, if you want to start with low cost product buy a LEE PRESS, if these were garbage then they would be out of business since a long time ago. They are not.

You want better products look at :
HORNADY
RCBS
DILLON

If you want something more robust with a lot of accessories :
Alberta Tactical

You want the ultimate in price
CH4D for .50BMG
