Just ordered a proper scope for my wife's 93 BTVS and just wondering what rings/base I will need to mount it to the rifle. Originally had the rifle equipped with a cheap 32mm Simmons scope as I wasn't sure how much she would take to shooting. Needless to say she has been bit hard by the accuracy bug. I have high quality rings that I'd like to use but the current scope is only 5mm from the barrel (objective bell). Obviously I will need something taller. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
