I did a google search to look into the CZ model 557 rifle. But one site I got was a video of some people shooting a .557 cartridge rifle.

I don't know if this actually falls in the definition of a "Hunting and Sporting Arm" . It seems to just about kill at both ends. Pretty funny video. You might want to turn the sound off or down.

The last guy earned respect, to be sure. So many awful holds in that compilation I couldn't help but bring before the trigger was even pulled, only one guy really got behind the rifle. As Dogleg pointed out, the video is titled wrong, .577 is a caliber but .557 is not, at least to my knowledge. There is also a custom Ruger No.1 mixed in there it seems.

Most of us have seen the "recoil videos" before, but not everyone knows the backstory of the creator. Saeed Al Maktoum is the owner of the AR website, a member of the royal family of Dubai, world class shooter, and accomplished hunter. The family owns Emirate Air among other things. He is widely considered to have killed more cape buffalo than any living non-professional, and truth to be told 99.99% of the professionals as well.

Learn something new everyday, when one says the AR site, as someone ignorant to much of the internet, we can't mean AR15.com? Seems an extreme diversion in topics so I'm certain I'm wrong. I'm guessing that is quite the private indoor range of his, and figured there was real money involved as the rifle cartwheeling to the floor didn't seem to bother anyone. :)

A.R.= Accuratereloading.com. His African forum is probably the best online resource for the African hunter on the go, or the guy who wants to be that guy. Those guys saved my ass this year when a hunt was unravelling on me, and some South Africans banded together to save a hunt in Mozambique.

The range is 100 meters and is under his house. The rifle is an A-square, a Hannibal I believe. He said its on its third stock, simply from being dropped so often. After changing the glass door twice from guys flying through it was replaced with bullet-proof glass. Bulletproof is certainly a relative term; I doubt that it is .577 T-Rex proof but that was the term he chose.
