My friend have asked me to help him with reducing coyotes on his property and I am looking to make some loads just for that.
I have Tikka HB in .223Rem with 1:12" and excellent groups with SMK53gr and Benchmark powder.
This time I would like to try H335 and V-Max 55gr.
Any advice on loads?

Thanks

Hodgdon lists two different 55gr bullets (no V-Max) in their load data and the low on one is 21.4 to a max of 22.8 and the other is a low of 23.0 to a max of 25.3

"...no V-Max..." You load for the bullet weight. Doesn't matter who made it. I'd be looking for the best velocity. That'd be the Speer SP data.

I'm shooting 24.4gr of h335 with 55gr vmax out of my tikka varmint 1-8". Groups around 1/2" at 100 with ease. Tough to find a load that DOESNT shoot well in my tikka!

Why the two different charge weights with the same weight bullets?
