577/450 brass?

Got access to a lathe? I have a .pdf of an article that tells you how to make .577-450 brass out of 3/4" brass bar stock. E-Mail me if you want it. It was on-line, but it appears to have been taken down. toheir@hotmail.com

Another vote for Buffalo Arms. Or you cvould try to get Alberta Tactical to get you some. I like to see Rick spin out from time to time. Might be fun!

Ok, another question. I've notice that most 577/450 rounds I've seen are paper patched. Can a simple lubed lead bullet be used instead and if so, what diameter would it have to be?

Some of these bores can be as big as .475", you must slug your barrel to get a bullet that fits good, if the bore size is in the .460 -.470 range, you can paper patch bullets meant for the 45/70 (.459"). If your bore is indeed near .475" you could get by with cast bullets designed for the .480 Ruger Rev.
