577-450 Chamber Adapter to shoot 45 Long Colt, which dealer had them?

its kind of a waste to use a full size action maybe a cadet action but even then if you find a cadet in its original form its not worth it full military martini. one day I'll have a martini mk4 action in my .600 moose round (still refining it and I have a few other projects on the back burner)
 
I have the only Hammond game getter in existence for the 577/450. I use a Lee 45 caliber real bullet or a .462 round ball.
I also have found that I need the full power (yellow) ramset blank to get any more than bloopers.

Using a 45 colt adapter in the 577/450 is a waste of time and lead IMHO...
As is using the 45/70 adapter - got one of those too.

I got game getters in .303 and a few others a .577-450 would be cool. im using the .45 colt adapter no problem a hollow base bullet for the .455 webley works ok and like I said I can use mine for .410 just so happens .410 cut shells don't work all that bad in the martini henry. also its good for people limited to pistol ranges

Call Brian and see if you will make one up for you. I use a Lee 45 caliber REAL cast bullet with mine. Lee Liquid Alox lube on the bullet.

yes ive been looking at the 3 groove .45 REAL the top band should be about .465" or so and the bottom band should fit a .45 colt case. i'll have to give him a call but ive been using light charges of red dot and .454 round balls in .45 colt ive been looking for some bigger round balls even if they sit on top of the case they will work

I have a greener martini project hiding in the dark corners of the gun room. It's chambered for 577 x 2 1/2" BP express. Came with some nice custom moulds too. :D
