Well I did it, I bought a 577/450 Martini Henery for my collection.

now I have to start collecting reloading equipment

I see lee dies are $110 for a 2 die set

and brass is going to be a treat to get too

I must be sick

Welcome to the "Club". I took the plunge when brass from Kynamco was $6.00 each and a set of dies from CH4D was $280.00. Bullet moulds were almost non existent but now you can buy them from many sources. I did get some turned brass by "NDFS" which has been wonderful. Since the Nepal cache came onto the market there has been much better availability of components. Shop around and talk to the guys on the British Militaria forum. Some resize 24 guage shotgun shells. I enjoy shooting them with my friends. Lots of smoke and a good kick. Good luck. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Slug the bore on those as some have .475" or so bores, I am working on a mold for a .475" bullet for those large bored MHs. Will let folks know when this plays out.

well I allready have 2 presses and all the loading gear just not the 577/450 specific dies.

I've been reading up on reforming the 24 gauge brass shot shells with some interest, but have yet to price up the difference between those and ready formes 577/450 brass.

I've got a few links now to follow and have an excuse to go down to the US for a few more shopping trips.

Good thing I got a bunch of $USD back when they wre on par with the $CDN :)
