.577 Snider breech loading rifle

Cat, before you silver solder a sight google "british militariia forums" and click snider forums then click "alternate sights" thread for ideas on Snider sights.

Grossest contraptions I have ever seen!
Soldering on a taller blade will not detract from any supposed value , as it can be sweated off if need be, but this is a shooter that I own and hunt with, and I am not about to fit it out with some sort of plasctic or metal add - on thingy at the muzzle, and I am certainly not going to stick any kind of rear receiver sight on it....:eek:
