.577 snider for hunting

Hey guys, I have a .577 snider that was my dads. Its a cadet carbine, ive always loved this gun and thought it might be fun to hunt with it.

So my question is has anyone here done so ? What were your experiences ?

I keep thinking of using one of mine for hunting. Have you shot it yet? Are you able to reload for it? I've got a few little tricks to make it cheap to shoot and reloadable with minimal effort. PM me if you want....
