getting closer to making some ammo for my snider Where to go for specs? I just got my lee die set today and was hopeing that it would come with the chart describing the load data, no such luck. ?????????????
 
Cartridges of the World has some loads both Blackpowder and smokeless.

Also search the internet: I saw some loads using Unique and other powders.

I liked the loads for Unique as they dont require any filler.

I am all set to load myself except I got the 24gauge brass to cut down - I tried one cutting with a pipe-cutter but cut my first one too long and I am not sure how to trim this huge cartridge to length.
 
i load lots of snider ammo. PM me and ill give you what i know if you dont find anything out in the books

for trimming 24 ga brass, i have a tiny cutoff saw i use. works slick as can be. then debur and heat treat, then size, then away to the races. what are you going to use for bullets?

Ifound a guy in alberta that has bertram?? correct headstamp brass. $80. for 20 cases+shipping and tax. he also has bullet molds. I will ask him if he wants his phone number posted
 
Please PM me the info for the guy in Alberta - it would be good to keep on file.

I picked up a box of bullets at Williams quite a while back.

I also have the Lee mold but I have no source for lead yet.
