.577 Snider wad punch

Does anyone know where I can buy a punch for making wads of about .585-.590 diamter for reloading a Snider? I'm told that a 15mm or maybe 16mm hole saw will work but can not locate one.

I tried here because I thought I would have more luck than the regular reloading forum.

Princess Auto has a whole gasket punch set set that includes a 5/8" punch. Less than $20 for the set IIRC.

Desperation is a mother....

Having shot Sniders for a few years now I too have run into the same problem of finding wads. There are several easy solutions, one is to use 24 gauge over shot wads that are slightly smaller at about .575", or you can use 20 gauge over shot wads that are slightly too big at about .612". However, having cut down a barrel that was in particularly bad shape I had a spare punch just the right size and so I sharpened the barrel and use it to punch out wads at about the right diameter .593" or so.

Shooting Sniders has often proved to be an exercise in creative problem solving but, that is half the fun.
