It is not like an a1. It has the lighter barrel, plastic safety and trigger guard. I almost bought it

I have the 590A1 spx with bayonett. Trigger guard and safety are both metal, heavy barrel.

Thats the one I wanted, but Milarm was out of stock when I got mine. I ended up with 51663 model, the same except without the Speedfeed stock.

Correct. The A1's are marked as such as well. "M590A1"

I just noticed that the Benelli M4 a $2200 shotgun comes with aluminium receiver like the 590A1!!!!!!
