Looking for a good way to mount a weapon light on my 14” 590a1. I do not want a dedicated Forend light.


Anyone know where I can get a gg&g light mount rail in Canada? Or something similar?

I have one good weapon light and want to be able to swap it from rifle to shotgun for camp duty.
 
2x on the Magpul forend! You can get an inexpensive short piece of Mlok rail and attach many different lights. Have a look at the Olight PL-Pro Valkyrie, it's powerful, has lots of flexible settings and has an easy to recharge battery system.
 
Magpul are excellent but you'll need to trim it to fit since you have the 14. Best option though and if you can handle a dremel it's easily modified.

I have this set up on my 590a1 14.
 
Magpul forend is a good way to go , you'll have to modify the forend some with a hole saw to fit , easy to do , even a thread on here about it .
Cheapest way to go, is just mount a magpul rail section on your current forend .
And then there's the GG&G option, which can be had with a sling point, which will work with a magpul para clip.

Wolverine carry GG&G kit , if they don't have it on their website, call or email them , they will get it for you
 
Mine is a Streamligt mount for an 870 .... the principle is the same ....
