Mossberg now offers a streamlined receiver laser mount, which to me makes them totally useful now.
Neat little guns, i would like to do something similar with my 510 mini bantam. Wouldnt it be sweet in a 20 or 410 gauge?

I like the look of it, but prefer the heavier 590a1 barrel on a SG of this style.

With a 14 inch barrel do you think a slim or slightly heavier profile will make much difference felt recoil?
Personally I see that strap as more important.

The shockwaves I've seen in the past including the conversion kit all comes with the 590a1 heavy walled barrel. Not sure if this has been changed.

With my several Ithacas including two Stakeouts I cannot tell any difference short barrel profile, except one from 1980 with extended magazine but it has 20 inch barrel.
Inclusive 14 and 18.5 inch.

That laser thing is sure a nice touch, imagine hearing the "clunk clunk" cocking sound and find a laser pointing at you at the same time... The sheer intimidation alone would have stopped any threat escalation in a civilized world...lol

I use an eye level push-pull technique with all stockless shotguns, and I find that more weight forward on the gun simply increases fatigue while helping little with perceived recoil.

The "baddass" aspect of these holds no appeal to me personally (or any, non-shoulder-fired shotgun) but as soon as Mossberg starts offering wooden stock sets (including a proper buttstock) I'll be nabbing one for sure.

Mossberg's selection of guns was dizzying a couple of years back. Now this. lol
