looking for a 9+1 pump with a decent brake for 3 gun, 590A1 seems to fit but I would like the brake off the road-blocker.Will I have to change barrels?
I think that would be a badass setup... the Roadblocker muzzle brake looks like it works wonders. I see that many guys buy the Roadblocker and put an actual buttstock on it.
IMO…the Roadblocker muzzle brake works wonders because it has some weight behind it. This would probably be the reason why many owners are installing a buttstock to support the heavy front end. Again, just my opinion.
You did fine at that price. I was just at WSS and they had it on the shelf for $439.Well, I bought one of these. On sale at Cabela's for $399. Mossberg USA says retail is $562, so I think it's a great deal!

Don't let the wet blanket post above me sway you. You can add and remove things from this shotgun, that's how they are designed. There's no aiming when hip shooting, and you can install a choke if you ever fit it with a stock. Enjoy your purchase.
OP, if the brake is wanted for reduced recoil on the 590A1, then don't worry, the added weight of the heavy barrel does a good job of that already compared to other shotguns.
