590a1flex switching forend/stock

Hi all
I expect my new 590a1 to be here tomorrow.
It's a "flex tls" stock system. What if I ever want to put a standars stock or forend on it?
I suppose it's all compatible but how easy is it to do?

Lots of people have done it.

The receiver is exactly the same as any other Mossberg receiver.

You just remove the lug and that's it.

To put aftermarket forends you need to buy a action tube to replace the flex system forend before you can attach aftermarket forends. Stock wise if you have the collapsible stock then the buffer tube is mil-spec and will work with any mil-spec AR buttstock options out there.
