I tried out the Blazers and they work pretty much the same as the Federal bulk pack I'm chewing up.
My rifle was way dirty when I bought it too. Took it apart and cleaned it to start with, but haven't since! oh well, it's still shooting great. I'll get it on some gophers this weekend
