597 aftermarket barrels - source?

Is there a good source for a replacement barrel for a .22lr 597? I have an older version that I just cannot turn into a shooter. Added a VQ hammer and extractor, decent scope, and I canot get groups smaller than 1" at 25 yds. Want to take a look at replacement barrels before I write this one off.

I shot a buddies 597 in .22WMR and this thing was wicked accurate. If rebarreling fails, will just pick one of these up.

They do exist, seems they may be out of current manufacture, as there is no indication on VC's site that they still make them...

not sure how you would get it here.... but they are out of stock at the moment anyways
