well after what seems forever ive found them
i just ordered 2 they are 30rd mags from a place in the states heres a link:

They are rimfire mags, Customs can't jack them.

Will these mags be legal to bring into canada? I have already ordered one, but the thought did come to mind after the fact if Customs can confiscate them due to the fact that it is a gun part.

They are 100% legal in Canada. If Customs messes around with you just remind them ther eis not mag limit for rimfire and they will release your mags. I also ordered 2 and they are backordered to July 27. I hope its a good product!

No doubt! Am tired of seeing all the extended capacity mags for the 10/22 guys and nothing for us 597 guys. Can't wait to get these mags!

ok i will rescind my email telling them to cancel my order for these mags. I always thought that gun part orders such as magazines were restricted by customs canada.

Nope. I was told a few weeks ago that they will be ready after the 27th. My credit card has not been billed yet so they have not shipped.
