597 parts prices?

Anybody know how much a new receiver for a 597 is?? Canadian dollars? Looking for a spare. along with a fully assembled bolt?

I've never seen a separate receiver advertised. I think it's only available from Remington.
(No idea about price.)

If you shop around you should be able to find a new spare receiver with new bolt for about 175 bucks. It also comes with a free stock, barrel and trigger group which you can then resell and recoup some money back.

can anyone list the parts needed to swap the .22lr 597 over to a 22WMR or .17HMR apparently it can be done fairly easily just can't find any indepth info on it.

You need the following parts: Bolt, bolt buffer, 22mag action springs (inner and outer), barrel and trigger group with magwell. Only thing you can use from the .22lr is the stock, sights and receiver. It will be cheaper to buy a complete 22mag Remington 597.
