597 VTR trigger

Checked the trigger pull with fish scales three times and got a consistent 11 lbs . Now I know this is not the best way to do this but its the only way I have at the moment . If I polish the hammer and other stuff what should I anticipated the trigger pull to be .

I agree the stock trigger's are junk & the aftermarket ones are the same as if you did it yourself. I don't have no trigger scale but mine after some fileing and emery cloth it makes for a very light and smooth pull.
