Just a couple pics of a side project. 1939 dated 5CM mortar bomb box for the L.Granatwerfer 36. I received from France. Took two tries at the paint but believe I pretty much got it when compared to the vestiges of the original paint, the box had been repainted over the original and rust, and a second application of the stencilwerk (that was applied around the "rust fields") by god only knows who and for what purpose. So while it would have been great to preserve the original stencils it really was only good for reference of placement for new.

^ Note popped spot welds/holes as all the internal gussets that retained the mortar bombs had been removed
