5mm rem. rimfire mag

The 5mm Rem has been obsolete for decades and the last time I saw ammuntion for it was over 6 years ago at a gun show and the box of 50 was going for $50, I would not be surprised if it is at least double that now. There was a centerfire conversion for the rifle years ago but i don't know if it is still available now.

5mm Rem has been gone for at least 30 years.

You would stand a better chance of finding a bag of chicken lips than ammo.

As Silverback said, 50rds for $50, and that's cheap.

Taurus'
Tracker revolver is available in the resurgent 5mm Remington Magnum. Ammunition is available from Aguila.

Yes Aguila is back in the 5mm Rem Mag business.

I took this photo at SHOT 2 weeks ago. This is from an upcoming article in the CSSA magazine.

Another re-introduction worth noting is the 5mm Remington Magnum rimfire, as loaded by Aguila of Mexico.
This is good news for owners of the Remington Model 591 and 592 rifles, as ammo has not been loaded since 1984.
The original Remington load was a 38 grain bullet with a muzzle velocity of 2100 fps, while the new load claims a velocity of 2300 fps with a 30 grain JHP.
