Alarm goes off at 3:30.Drive to spot at 3:45.Wait for brother to get there at 4:30.Another truck pulls in the feild and guys say you got permission,I say yes we do so they drive off.Start setting dec's up just before daylight and and still no sounds of gobble.Then just after daylight the gobblin' starts.From another feild comes a tom and 4 hens and he's a struttin' big time !!.3 hens cross the fence and tom and another hen stay behind,he leaves the hen after 10 minutes or so and crosses the fences so call a couple times and he looks at the decs but still after the other 3 hens.Then all of a sudden he starts running to the decs.Checks out the hen decs and then straight to the first jake and then to the next jake and bang,down he goes at 12 yds.

Opening day is starting to get boring ,3 yrs hunting,3 yrs straight for an opening day bird

Hope you other guys get a bird but if not as they say,a bad day in the woods is better than a good day at work.
