just a 6.5 06 ai built .
looking for the best solution for a set of dies.
what caliber of brass should i use for fire forming ?
26 inch fluted number 3 benchmark.
700 action
wildcat stock vartac hunter.
Mitch did an awesome job.
now i just have to figure out how to get a bullet out of the end of the barrel .LOL.

I had one for a bit. Hornady 25-06 brass worked good. Dies were RCBS

You'll be safe using 6.5 PRC load data as the 06 AI has 7% larger case capacity

I have a nice 6.5-06 that I use 25-06, necked up and lightly loaded to fire form, or 270 Win necked down. The 270 Win needs to be trimmed before fire forming. I have Redding dies that I really like, but I do not know if this company makes an AI version. One of the easiest wildcats to load for. Please let us know how it goes.
