I've played around with a 26 Nosler enough to know that it's too much powder under a 6.5mm bullet. Very few good powders slow enough for this overbore round

Mostly I agree with this, but we have seen a lot of new slower powders introduced. If we could only get them. I built a 7mm-378 once (and an 8mm version) that was only accurate with Thunderbird surplus 20mm powder.(at that time). - dan
