One hundred yard groups for an elk gun are pointless. How does it group at 300yds? Can you hit on the 'double brown' line consistently and low enough to get the heart? Can you hold hard enough in the field? And, just to ask another tough question, how much energy is left with that bullet at 300?
 
I have tried the 127lrx in two 6.5 rifles, neither did great, but both of my friends rifles were very fussy, to the point that it took 7-8 bullet/powder combinations to find a decent hunting load ,for each of them. The 130gr Gamechanger shot excellent in my 6.5CM, and my 6.5PRC prefers the 143gr eldx.
As for accuracy, if I get 1/2moa with a hunting rifle, I don't waste components, trying to better that.
