6.5-300 rcm?

I'm thinking about doing a 6.5 RCM, does anyone have any experience with this round? It seems about perfect. Smaller than a wsm but bigger than a rsaum.

If I do end up making one, what should i use for dies? If I found a 300 RCM fl die would I be able to use it to bump the shoulder back if I took out the expander ball?

Thoughts?
 
Do you have a good supply of brass? I don't think I've ever seen any RCM brass in any stores. If your intention is to use one of the short mag for your wildcat, I would go WSM or SAUM way before going RCM.

I have one. Remington 700 stainless action, Boyd's stock, 24" Bob Jury stainless 8 twist barrel, topped with a Sightron Big Sky II. Didn't get it till too late in the season to get load development done. Shot a few rounds but was too cold and my fingers froze. From what I did shoot I can say that it was enjoyable and easy on the shoulder. Waiting till break up to do more load testing. Shoot me a pm if you want more info on dies and reamer and so on
 
I did look up 6.5 extreme, there is a little bit on it but not enough to really tell me alot. And I've found enough brass on the Web, I'm not overly worried. It's after everything is made and shooting is what I was concerned about.
