just seeing if anybody out there can point me in the direction for a BCG for my BCL 102 build, or if i even need to go that route.

I’m no expert, but I think as the case heads are the same, the bolt should be the same.
6.5 CM,.308, .243 etc.
I believe the 6.5 CM is just a .308 necked down, they still have the same case head.

Ryan at SFRC is your guy for info.
Maybe the BCL is a different cat.

I’ve read that some of the Standard BCG don’t fit .

Also BCL is in the process of releasing the 6.5, so maybe they can hook you up with a BCG.
At least you know it’ll fit???

Can confirm Fulton and JP bcgs work. Hi pressure bolts just have a reduced diameter firing pin so more of the primer is supported. Don't know how essential it is but it's recommend from reading online.

6.5CM is a necked down 30TC not 308 win, they do use the same bolt though.
OP, the only thing you need is a quality aftermarket 6.5CM barrel and you should be ready to go.
6.5 is not a high pressure cartridge (no higher than a 308win anyway), nothing special needed as long as your BCL parts are in spec.
I own and reload for two 6.5CM rifles, one bolt and one semi.

Warning, if you don't shoot beyond 500 yards don't bother switching to Creedmoor. The 6.5 doesn't do anything a 308 can't do out to 500-600 yards and factory ammo is not as readily available.
If you just want something different then go for it, it's a great cartridge.
If you decide 6.5 isn't going to offer you anything you can use over the cheaper to shoot and easier to find 308 then I would still replace the factory barrel with a quality aftermarket 308 barrel.
