6.5 carcano age by serial number question

I have a carcano ser number ax 1701 any ideas as to odel and year?
i went through the search post but had no luck..
help..please!!!

I know my Carcano quite clearly has FAT 42 stamped on top of the chamber.

yes, pictures would help. Your rifle is probably a 1943 M41 made by terni, according to the serial number, but would need pictures to be certain. At the end of 1943, there is no FAT arsenal indicator on the barrel, just a crown and the serial number. Hope it help.
