looking for a light weight to med weight 6.5CM barrel for stag arms 10 ive found the giant heavy ones. anyone know a sorce for a hunting weight barrel?
 
Define "light" weight, as well as how deep your pockets are ?

MRA has a 20" carbon fiber barrel which goes for about $1k, but you'll only gain 18 oz compared to the stock 18.6" stag barrel (which scales at about 50oz).

lil bit of both. im building an upper in ea caliber actually. its not going to be a bench gun, and im not interested in packing around a 12 pd rifle to hunt with ether
 
I have the maple ridge in .308. It scales at 2lbs 8oz. I find it to be very good so far. It balances very well, 20” barrel is adequate I think. I would be looking for a similar weighted barrel when I do grab a CM barrel. Only cheap factory ammo so far, but it runs well, and has kept to about an inch so far with no real ammo exploration. I will try a few different ones here very soon, but it all looks very promising
