6.5 Creedmoor Build - check it out

Got my 6.5 Creedmoor build in the mail today.
- trued Remington 700 SS action (taken from a new 7mm-08)
- Shilen #7HV barrel 30 inches
- Boyd's laminate thumbhole stock - blue color
- Jewell trigger set at 2 lbs
- Sightron 8-32x56 LRMOA scope
- Harris 6-9 inch swivel bipod
- Chocolate Lab in the bottom right corner

sorry for the 'noobish' question but what makes it a "6.5 creedmoor" and what it is? snab in the dark it a "kit"... either way looks great, hope it shoots better for you.

My shooting buddy just got a .260 built also. We will be trying out our new rifles this weekend hopefully.

How much ammo do you have? I am having a crazy time trying to get some factory 140 gr ammo. They are extremely rare right now to find. No dealers can tell when more will be coming, I've even gone so far to ask some of the american ammo dealers if they know when they will receive some shipments.

I have no idea about factory ammo as I reload my own.

I have 500 Sierra MKs HPBT in 123 gr bullets.
