Looking to see what options the CGN community would recommend for an MDT ACC Gen 2 chassis that is set for a REM 700 SA that I wanted to build into a 6.5 Creedmoor PRS rifle for competition. I won the chassis in a raffle so I could always sell it if nothing makes sense for it.

Searching Google it is hard to find any 6.5 Creedmoor barreled actions that are both available (in stock) and would fit this chassis.

No rush as this would be a winter build, but value the community feedback.
Cheers

There are dozens of action brands and models that fit the Rem700 short action footprint - meaning they mount in that chassis inlet.

Some people you could buy an action, or barreled action, from in Canada include:
- Dominion Outdoors
- KS Arms
- Insite Arms
- EM Precision
- Go Big Tactical
- Ultimatum

With the tariffs currently in place there is many dealers that are holding off on bringing in actions and barrels due to the added costs so current stocks are dwindling. The Canadian made actions Id look at would be K.S and Ultimatum/IBI. Both make their own barrels as well and are well regarded for their performance. They also are cheaper than the bigger names you hear in the PRS and long range discussions like Defiance, Impact, BAT, Lone Peak, ect.

Sell it, if you are going to be serious for Long Range precision shooting, get an ACC Elite would be a better option.
For actions you could check the following popular brands:
Defiance
Impact
Terminus
BAT
Lone Peak
Folkor
Zermatt
Kelbly
And there are more.

Unless dealer is in stock for the configuration you want, you could always order one or import from US using agent like iRunGuns.

Quiet a few dealers for barrel blanks from Bartlein, Kreiger etc.

The challenge is to find a good gunsmith do the chambering for you in Ontario.

Or you can use the money to get a Tikka T3X ACE Target which would save money for now and once you know what you want, you can always build your own in the future.
