6.5 Grendel

I really like the cartridge too. Mine loves the 123gr SST over CEF223, but I’m also going to try the Barnes 115gr TacTtx.

I like the looks of those, though I've never had the opportunity to fire one. Howa has made good rifles for a long time now. - dan

There OK ! Cheap Mass Produced BUT Functional ! The trigger's need to be fixed up - I polished mine up and installed a lighter spring so its Pretty good Now ! The stock fits OK but its HEAVY ! Kinda Clubish ! - I want the new Carbon Fibre stock for mine as soon as its avail . Mine weights exactly 7 lbs with a 4-12 Elite 3500 in Talley LW rings - RJ

go on rub it in....... i was in the market for the 6.5 grendal, it was on the list of Youth cartridges for Deer,,,,... others were the 300blk, no comparison an the the 7.62x39 in a modern bolt gun...

for whats goin on, i think we made the right choice, however i do like the little Grendel , its just that bit harder to feed down under, an thats a cause for concern with me.

good thread, would be nice to see some grendel deer photos.
