6.5 Jap ammo

So I picked up some what I think to be Prvi Partisan 6.5 Jap ammo from a local gunshow. Headstamp reads "nny 6.5Jap" and its FMJ. Is this ammo safe to use in my Arisaka, or is it the same as all other Prvi ammo?

What do you mean by "is it the same as all other Prvi ammo?"

I've shot a lot of PP in the past and had no problems.

If you've got a Type 38 you should have no problesms.

Like Eos says, if you have a Type 38, you're all set. Mind you, Priv isn't listing 6.5 Jap. Your only other option for factory ammo is Norma or Hornady. Assuming you can find any.
