It’s my understanding that cooeys were rebarreled to a “true “ 6.5 - 264 bore.

Yeah mine was. Does it have a 19 or 20" barrel and 6.5mm stamped on the knox form?

If so i bet its a .264" barrel and a new manufacture at the time of rebarreling

If it is a cooey carcano it will be a standard .264 bore.

OP; let me know what mould you went with. I also have a Cooey Carcano (?) that I’m interested in casting bullets for.

As stated should be .264

I use the 140 gr Lyman sized to 0.266. I have three Cooey’s and all have had the barrels replaced with regular sized 6.5 barrels.
