Hey guys,

I figured you guys would know best.

I'm looking for a muzzle brake for a 6.5 Creedmoor. I was looking for something small but still effective, so I originally wanted a Little Fat B*. But then I learned about the Heathen. Many people seem pleased with them and apparently they aren't as shockingly loud as the little fat b*. But if it performs almost as good as a little fat b* I'll probably go with it.

Are there any other brakes that are small and cheaper than the Heathe that you would recommend? I don't have any experience with brakes except the one on my x39 xrc.

Thanks guys

Why a brake for a 6.5? There is little te no recoil to begin with. You just blow gas back to annoy people on the firing line.

It is to eliminate recoil and muzzle jump so you can spot your own shots/bullet trace/hits during PRS/Tactical rifle competitions. Many stages/matches don't allow a spotter.

Also no more annoying then people with brakes on their big boomer cartridges on the firing line.

Self indexing and tones of thread sizes
great machining and finish and sleek design
Kills recoil along with muzzle jump.
Easy on a spotter if ya have one and low dust signature while prone in dusty conditions.
Easy on your nasal canals unlike a lot out there.
Lots of videos and reviews out there on them
