The question is whether the primer will fail under the pressure. They have made improvements to the case but have there been a significant change to the primer cup to take the new pressures.

Well that is a Fact as primers normlly BLOW out because of primer pocket Over Expansion in size ! - The metal case is supposed to stop that expansion like it does with the 7 BC cartridge . I will assume they will be using the same primer in the Super 65 CreedMore !

A .303 with peak technology will shoot 300fps faster as well, assuming the action can handle it.

Don't buy a new rifle. Just buy our expensive steel ammunition, put it in your standard 6.5 Creedmoor, and get instant 6.5 PRC magnum velocities.

It's actually less money than brass casing ammunition

At least compare the 24" barrel.

The 7mm backcountry smokes the .270.

Also this technology can be applied to the .270. Which would make it almost duplicate the 7mm bc.

That's an interesting thought. How much more powder can they stuff into that small case, to increase the velocity of 300 fps? I would guess a fast burning powder.

This is dumb. How can ANY hand loader be mystified by this? You can achieve that much velocity and pressure with LESS powder. My word. You are running your 270 Winchester at 75,000 PSI.

Do the physics flip? They certainly COULD, but i haven't seen anything that really convinces me one way or the other on this.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying I don't know, so if you've got something to show that supports your assertions please share with the rest of us - and please explain yourself. Simply giving the name of a law doesn't help us understand when we don't know what that law means or how to apply it.
