Especially since Short Action Customs has already introduced a 6mm Creedmoor die for necking down that new +Peak brass from 6.5 to 6 - all in conjuction with Federal!

Although the 6.5 Creedmoor is a ballistic triplet to the 6.5x55 and 260 Remington, it's still an OK cartridge. HOWEVER, overly hyped in social media. These cartridges I dislike because of their lethargic velocities, but that is about to change for the creedmoor.

Just to clear up some apparent confusion, you need to shoot ammunition through a barrel to wear it out. Lots of it. Downsides are costs associated with ammunition expenditure and replacement of the barrel. Upsides include better shooting and you learn a few things.
